Our founder, Mr Chong Keu, started back in 1989 as a repairman at a distribution shop. His fast turnaround and service oriented attitude made him well praised by his customers, who persuaded him to start out on his own. He saw the opportunity that these customers needed fast turnaround in servicing of the machines and accurate troubleshooting, and Soon Yuen Trading was started.

 

32 years later, Mr Edwin Chong took over the helm of the business in 2021. The direction for modernisation and expansion has been established, but no changes are made to the focus of the business being to solve problems fast, reducing the downtime of the machines since the time lost would mean loss of potential income. Not only that, Soon Yuen Trading aims to share these knowledge and tips on quick fixes, maintenance, etc with the customers, continuing the sincere attitude and quality products.
